Rail is 1″ thick foam, For The playing surface, I went with 1/4″ Neoprene
foam. This foam has great recovery time.

Your last sentence spoke volumes my friend! Thanks. This will definitely be
a table I’m looking to add legs and be durable for some serious long term
gaming. No table top here. Thanks for the input! I’ll be going with 3
sheets. Another quick question: What is a good width for the rail and the
racetrack. I’d prefer a little more racetrack to show.

I have a question, this is great for what I was looking. The only part that
its missing for what I was looking, is one with a “dealer position” and a
whole for the chip rack. Do you have instructions on how to add those in?
    Thank you so much!

i love these plans…As discussed previously, where and when would you use
the 3rd piece of plywood? Would it be best to use a trammel and router to
make the curve edges, especially for the inside of the race track where
    people see it?

This is an awesome video. One question.. I want to build a poker table with
the racetrack design. Your video shows how to build it using two sheets of
plywood but a lot of online instructions say u need 3 sheets of plywood.
Why the difference and which one works better?
